The project involves the preparation of a Zonal Urban Development Plan (ZUP) for the development of a recreational area along the Simeria Stream in the municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe. The planning documentation is required to support the implementation of a project included in the municipality’s Integrated Urban Development Strategy, under the Green Axis framework. The proposal establishes the planning framework for access infrastructure and facilities dedicated to recreational and educational activities within the Valea Sâmbrezii area, while enhancing the site's natural assets and its connection to the urban environment.

Through the proposed regulations, the project seeks to create an accessible and sustainable environment that strengthens the relationship between the community and the natural landscape. The main objectives include promoting environmental education among children and young people, encouraging local ecotourism and outdoor recreational activities, and enhancing as well as protecting the area's natural heritage. In doing so, the project contributes to the expansion of the municipality’s green network and to the creation of a framework that fosters awareness, appreciation, and responsible use of natural resources.
